spangled: a small, often circular piece of sparkling metal... i suppose they'd be hoop earrings, but not the thin hoops. the ones with thick 'bottoms', like a teardrop or something.

oh, pooks, i have a beach party on tuesday. could i borrow your green corduroy skirt, with the green flipflops and a billowly white-ish blouse? something that shows off a bit of shoulder, i'm looking to even out my tan lines. and a straw hat.
